Black and Blue Bacon Burger – Low Carb Summer Grilling

Black and Blue Bacon Burger – Low Carb Summer Grilling

Black and Bleu Bacon Burgers

The summer is coming into full swing here in North Carolina. We definitely had a couple 90 degree days out there. Of course this means grilling season is officially here to stay. Well, I suppose it’s always here to stay for me (even in winter). I thought I would give you all some directions on making some of my black and blue bacon burgers. With blue cheese on the inside and the out, as well as a nice slice of pepper jack on top (as always), it’s definitely on the cheesier side of  things. Enjoy!

You actually don’t want this to happen, but I thought the shot looked cool. 20160604_194122

  1. These look amazing!

I can’t wait to make some of these at my next barbecue – I love the name “Black and Blue Burger”. I think I will serve them with lettuce too, just in case someone wants to wrap them!

Great recipe, can’t wait to try it out!

    1. They definitely were some good burgers. Having them with lettuce and tomatoes is definitely a good way to serve them. I will actually throw some lettuce and tomato with a little salt and pepper and grill them for a few seconds to give them a quick char as well. That will add a few extra carbs, so I always make sure to account for those as well. Hope you make them soon and let me know how they turn out!

    1. I’m glad that I could feed your eyes. Now I definitely suggest you try making them so you can actually taste them as well!
